Everyone has their own story.
Recently I've been thinking about this.

"Why is this happening to me?"

"I am so depressed"

"What have I done to deserve this?"

" What the f**k is their problem?"

"Can't they see I'm obviously depressed"

"that person is obviously a bitch"

"I hate that person"

" That person is so f**kin stupid"

"Why is that kid so moody"

"stupid kid"

The progression goes a little something like this.
Then I stopped.....
I looked around....

A child in my husbands elementary school has no legs...But he is so happy!! I have both my working legs....
My own student had a horribly burned face....she still got on with her life happily. My face has no scars or burns....
Most of my students are orphans...but they are so happy. I grew up with wonderful parents...
A teacher in my school was going through physiotherapy.....he was still getting along happily. I don't have to go through physiotherapy
My collegues work 12 hour shifts minimum they barely eat or sleep...because that is the Japanese way....and they are still mostly happy. I work half that....6 hours...and my pay is not far behind theirs...
Two of my best friends finished college and are poor....no job...only a small supplementation to make sure they can eat....I was on the same scheme only a year and a half ago. Now I have a good job thats pretty easy.


I started to become more patient. and realized that life could be a whole lot worse...I noticed that I need to remember that everyone has loved something, lost something, battled something, feared something and yearned for something.
We are all human. Those who judge others need to stand back and really look....stop and rethink.

give everyone a break...and you'll get yours back ten fold...
